NHS England Extended Access
We are pleased to announce that we will be taking part in the NHS Extended Access to GP Services and are therefore able to offer appointments every Monday evening until 8pm, plus additional evening appointments on Friday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings. For information regarding the hours available and on how to book please click on the link - http://ndgpf.co.uk/extended-access-the-dales/
On Saturday 20th October 2018 the surgery will be opening a sit and wait flu vaccination clinic. All patients over 65 years of age and those who are in the “AT Risk” categories for example diabetic or asthma can attend this clinic.
Children will be invited to attend a separate clinic.
We will be open between 8am and 2pm on this day. You do not need to book an appointment in advance. Your eligibility for a vaccination will be checked on this day.
Following feedback from our patients, we now book all GP appointments up to two weeks in advance. Emergencies that need to be dealt with on the day will be triaged by the doctor or Nurse Practitioner. We will try and give you an appointment with the doctor of your choice but there will be times when this is not possible, and we ask for your co-operation.
Please phone 583465 or call at the reception desk to make an appointment. Please make a separate appointment for each person and do inform us if the appointment is no longer required.
Our appointments are for 10 minutes so if you have a number of problems, you may be asked to return to deal with the less important ones on another occasion.
We try to keep to appointment times, but the doctor may occasionally be called out to emergencies. Please be patient and understanding.
Medication reviews can also be carried out by our practice nurses and nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner can also deal with many common medical problems and an appointment can be made in advance.
Wheelchair access to the building is via a ramp near the front entrance.
