The surgery will be closed on the following bank holidays:

• Thursday 1st January 2026 (New Years Day)
• Friday 3rd April 2026 (Good Friday)
• Monday 6th April 2026 (Easter Monday)
• Monday 4th May 2026 (May day)
• Monday 25th May 2026 (Spring bank holiday)
• Monday 31st August 2026 (Late summer August bank holiday)
• Friday 25th December 2026 (Christmas day)
• Monday 28th December 2026 (Boxing day subsitute) 

The practice will close on selected afternoons throughout the year to allow all staff to attend essential training sessions (often referred to as QUEST)

These sessions ensure our clinical and administrative teams remain up to date with the latest guidance, develop their skills, and continue to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients. Regular training is a standard part of general practice to support continuous professional development and maintain high standards of care .
