Matlock and Ashover Practice Merger
Non-urgent advice: Proposed Matlock and Ashover Practice Merger
While it may not seem like it, Imperial Road Surgery and Ashover Medical Centre are currently two separate organisations. We are proposing to merge the two surgeries together in Summer 2025.
Please see this page for details of our proposed merger, frequently asked questions and ways to get involved.
Non-urgent advice: Details of the merger
For more details about our proposed merger, see an overview document here.
We want to be very clear that this merger is not to close or reduce the availability of appointments at either surgery. The surgeries being separate means that there is lots of duplication of work that we want to reduce, to give us more flexibility and time to spend seeing patients.
